At Themis School of Law, one of our basic aims is that you have a true law school experience and feel what being a law student truly means. Being a dedicated law school, our priority is to develop your analytical skills, devotion and passion for law, professional ethics, leadership capabilities, communication skills, and cognitive fervour. Our Legal Skills Course is a course designed to supplement the academic stage with practical legal skills sought by legal employers within Pakistan. This course will introduce our students to basic but essential foundational legal skills such as drafting, opinion writing, negotiations, advocacy, research and effective note taking skills. We strive to ensure that our students excel academically and graduate as a highly skilled, employable and responsible citizen with the ability to be a future leader in your chose profession. By giving you a thorough grounding in both the academic and practical legal skills required for a career in the legal profession, we know that you will be prepared to both work as a team and be a leader in your chosen professions.

Our goal is to impart legal education in a manner through which you acquire the required legal acumen, understanding of legal issues, and analytical skills which are necessary to succeed in a career at law. A practical approach to education and the law will give you an edge over other foreign law graduates since you will be familiar with what using a law degree means in real life.

You are offered, apart from the mandatory LLB degree courses, such as Law of Contract, Criminal Law, Law of Torts, Property Law, EU law and Jurisprudence, various optional courses from specialist areas of law, such as Commercial Law, Islamic Law, Law of Evidence, Intellectual Property Law and many others, which are not being currently offered by other law schools.

Themis School of Law also places a lot of emphasis on individual attention and students’ personal and professional development. The academic experience at Themis School of Law is complemented by a rich programme of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to provide you with a complete university life experience, including national and international mooting competitions, a regular calendar of distinguished guest speakers from academia and senior legal positions etc., and visits to District and High courts and the Supreme Court.

Personal qualities of the applicant, including leadership ability, character, motivation and maturity;

Personal statement provided by the student; and

Performance at the interview.
